Roskisnalle's name in English is  "Trash-Can-Teddy-Bear ".

Roskisnalle is a toy that was thrown away in a trash-can. She didn't like to be there so she came back to advice children as to what should not be thrown away. Roskisnalle advices the children to repair their toys or to give them to somebody who will love them, when don't want the toys any more. Roskisnalle also advices which trash belongs in which trash-can.

Roskisnalle is a happy character who loves to play with children and from those plays children are learning the important things about life including not to buy unnessessary things, to save money, to fix, to give etc.

Roskisnalle plays to children from 3 to 12 years old. She plays at schools, fairs and other happenings. The children love these plays. They get the message and they take part in the plays and they ask a lot of questions. The plays vary depending on the children’s age.

Roskisnalle is created by Birgitta Wulf, who also acts in her plays as Roskisnalle. Roskisnalle is a trademark registered in Finland. There is a society Roskisnallen Ideapajayhdistys ry which supports her activities. Roskisnallen Ideapajayhdistys ry aims to find ways to reduce waste and to find usefull ways to utilize materials that are currently going to waste. We need to find financing for those activities. We also want to provide work for unemployed young people. We have a lot of ideas on how to use waste as rawmaterials.

Roskisnalle is supported by the State of Finland by our Ministry of Environment. We hope to find more people who want to take part in our activities.

Roskisnalle hopes that we think about our future generations and that we keep this world as clean and as unpolluted as possible.
